We are an AAU club level 2 youth sports association that participates in elite quality leagues & tournaments across the Southeast US.

The South Florida Heat Elite teams will participate AAU, US Amateur, The Basketball Alliance, Frenzy League and Perseverance sanctioned basketball events. The AAU was founded in 1888 to establish standards and uniformity in amateur sports. During its early years, the AAU served as a leader in international sport representing the U.S. in the international sports federations. Founded in 1900, it consists of 69 public and private universities in the United States as well as 2 universities in Canada. AAU membership is by invitation only and requires an affirmative vote of three-quarters of current members.
